The Hollywood archive is much more than just and endless resource of stock photos. It is a gatekeeper to memories of the past. We are a showcase and a visual remembrance of a bygone era that many of us hold dear to our hearts... and, in a way, archiving  a cinematic history, and a modern mythology of sorts, for our times.

 

...but officially, the nuts and bolts of it is that The Hollywood Archive is an International Stock Photo Agency and Archive that specializes in celebrity, entertainment and historical stock photography.

 

We are home to a collection that traces the history of Hollywood from the silents, to today's films, TV Shows and modern day Red Carpet events and premieres. The Hollywood Archive offers a tremendous resource, and wide selection of outstanding fully captioned images from various facets of the entertainment industry, to professionals involved in media.
